Do you even cut down on your food consumption and still feel bloated? Have you followed many weight loss programs only to gain more weight (and disappointments)?

With the ever increasing rate of obesity, every source you find on TV, magazines, or online, talks about weight loss. However, the younger generation seems to be getting bigger and bigger (yes, pun intended!) The trouble with most of these programs, they all seem to be just further, modified developments of other popular weight loss programs. Contrarily, these diets may work in the short term, but many do not advise you to read between the lines of each weight loss program. What do you think the problems are with several of these diets and exercise programs? Below are typical examples:

they only provide the solution and not the cause of the problem to avoid in the first place

they neglect how to perform your daily routine between the programming schedule

they only focus on dieting and exercise

they do not research outside the box when proposing a dieting program

There is nothing wrong with following a diet program, but too many focus on the advancements of new programs to do the trick, which unlikely work without factoring in the basics.

Let’s now look at the following 7 Simple Rules that add to weight loss, and keep it off. Some are things to do while others are things to avoid if you want impressive weight loss results. You’ll be kicking yourself for not seeing these solutions right under your nose and do not involve dieting or a trip to the gym!

1. No Late Night Snacks

Remember when your mother used to deny you milk and cookies before bedtime when you were a kid? She was dead right! Eating midnight snacks interrupts your digestive system’s natural flow overnight and you suffer lack of sleep and an unpleasant stomach ache in the morning. Most people who eat late night snacks get out of bed between their hours of sleep, head to the refrigerator, and then back to bed. Not only do you gain weight by going back to bed immediately, but it also confuses your body’s internal clock and you may not get the proper sleep.

2. No Eating 2-3 Hours Before Going To Sleep

This is also a bad habit like above. Late in the evening is when your stomach muscles are very relaxed and almost immobile. The digestive system and metabolic rate is very slow in the late hours of the evening, hence the weight gain when you eat. Ever feel stuffed first thing in the morning after a hefty meal the night before?

3. No Napping After Meals

Just as with stuffing yourself before going to sleep, try to refrain from taking a power nap immediately after your latest meal of the day. Plus the lay down position in which you nap can render your consumed food stationary and take a long time to digest. The slow going process causes weight gain. The least you could do is to wait 30-45 minutes to aid in your digestion before taking a nap.

4. Stand While At Work

Hopefully you have an office job for this. You may also feel strange in public office spaces. But with the increase in the popularity in ergonomic designs and workplace safety, this practice is becoming encouraged in sit-down workplaces. Sitting in your office chair all day renders your body lazy and magnifies back pains. Try getting into the habit of standing up at your desk whenever you have the chance, and only sitting down for a few minutes rest.

5. Walk Around At Work

Similar to Number 4 above, you want to make multiple trips with your errands whether it’s grabbing that a series of copied prints, fetching some supplies in the stationary room or taking the stairs instead of the elevator, especially if heading up, instead of making single trips. You do burn a significant amount of calories with these extra trips you make around the office.

6. Walk Around While Talking On The Phone/Watching TV

Instead of sitting on the couch or lying down on the bed, walk around your living room or bedroom. Most people feel indigestion when they lie down. But with enough paces around the room, you can easily take hundreds of strides in only a few minutes if walking constantly. You may thing it takes too long and too many paces. But you’ll be surprised how time flies and how far you actually walked if you measure yourself on a pedometer.

7. Stretching Your Hamstring Muscles

If you have inactive hamstrings, they have a tendency to pull downward against your back posture and pushing your belly out of place, making you look like you gained weight, and you actually gain weight. The awkward position also compresses your spinal discs and stresses your lower back. Stretching your hamstrings periodically can help ease the position in your stomach and keep in its rightful place.

Remember that these exercises are only to complement your regular routine, not to neglect what you’re already doing. Sorry, but you didn’t you’d be let off easy by compromising your diet? It doesn’t work that way. Diet is still important. It is how you act on your diet and exercise that counts.

They Are Both Good … Or Bad

Do you know what acids are other than chemical compounds that have corrosive properties that can eat through your skin or even metals? Have you heard of a balances diet? Do you know that an alkaline diet is needed to balance the acidity in your body and vice versa?

Studies have shown the differences between acid and alkaline diets and how the gaping imbalance between then can cause severe effects.

When we think of acid, we automatically think of anything corrosive causing burns and deterioration. Although that may be correct, our bodies have an acidic rating which must be maintained. Part of acidic maintenance has to do with your digestive system. How else do you expect to digest your food otherwise if there is no digestive agent contained in your stomach? When you hear someone say they have acid, what it really means is they have high acid content in their digestive system, tissues, and other vital areas of the body. Evidently the acids need a second means of displacement and end up migrating to other bodily systems which are not used to welcoming acid compounds. Your stomach and kidneys, just like the rest of your functional organs glands, can only hold so much acid and related toxins before it percolates throughout the rest of the body. The result could lead to many ailments such as kidney stones, psoriasis, intense muscle soreness chronic fatigue, or joint pains, just to name a few. Acid can be just as deadly as mucus as a cancer forming agent if not handled properly.

Are Acidic Foods That Bad After All?

Just because acid is present in certain does not mean they are not beneficial. That is simply not always the case. In fact acid is required to balance your alkaline level. The effects are similar to the relationship between sugar and insulin. They both depend on each other for balance. The constituents of foods can vary depending on some factors: import, preservation, and the nature of the foods. Some healthy foods do contain acidic compounds, whereas some acidic foods contain healthy compounds.

Shall We Eat An All Alkaline Diet?

The short answer is not entirely. Surely, you want to reduce acidic foods from your diet. Nonetheless, consuming too many alkaline foods can have a similar devastating effect on your blood and digestive system. It is parallel to eating 10 carrots instead of two or three. Thus, you’ll need to balance the ratio between your acid and alkaline foods to maintain a pH range value between 6.5 and 7.5. If you think the chances of achieving that range is very slim, guess again. It is not as difficult as you may think. The actual difference between the pH values is several times more! In spite of keeping that optimal range, the effort shall be to keep your acidic level down because acid increases more significantly than your alkaline level can lower itself.

Why A Mix Of Each?

As mentioned in my “Why Do You Think Article”, the reason why we have a variety of acid/alkaline foods is because North America is a melting of people and ethnic groups. Over the years immigration encouraged the transplanting of foods confusing the pH balance in our systems. I personally love foreign and exotic foods nonetheless. But this information is quite helpful to enjoy your favorite foods while keeping the acid/alkaline combination balanced. Just like any other obstacle we hit (cancer, pollution, disasters, etc.) it is possible to adapt and come out as the winners.

Below I have a couple of helpful resources you can look at to complement your reading:

The Acid-Alkaline Food Chart and,

pH Balance.

The latter further explains how the pH system works in your system.

Please keep in mind this is solely based on my own research. The information on acid/alkaline diets is updated frequently, which is why I recommend you conduct your own research. These sources are merely to help you get started if you wish to gain further knowledge. Now go and have fun, and live healthy!

Recently, I wrote Some Good Food May Be Bad For Your Blood Type, But… explaining how your body needs to be nourished according to your blood type. While I stressed how necessary it is, it is not the ultimate solution. It is mainly a guideline to refer to when your health is threatened. Only in understanding how your blood type behaves with various food groups do you really need to optimize your health in case the time comes when you have a problem.

Professionals of all sorts of life sciences including doctors, dieticians, nutritionists, herbalists, biologists, etc. have historically studied The Blood Type Diet as far back before massive immigration and emigration have taken place. This is even before the times of western civilization, dynasties, etc. when we were barely wearing linen cloths to stay comfortable. To go back even further, before humankind began traveling and settling in different places, all our food, animal and plant based, were left alone and undisturbed. However, nowadays, many triggers of inconsistencies and impurities with our food supply as well as the environment have occurred. This is not to blame any humankind around the world. As a whole, humankind was unaware of the consequences of migrating to settle in other parts of the world. Along with their settlements, they brought along with them exotic plants, spices, fruits, and vegetables and even animals to redecorate their cuisine in order to adapt to their new environment. At the beginning, everybody was excited to have integrated varieties of foods from different countries and cultures, and even transplanted them in new soils.

Over the following years because of the radical intermixing of different foods, everybody’s diet and nutritional needs have drastically changed. As a result new diseases have formed because the foods could no longer adapt to their diverse environment. Soils became contaminated and animals became genetically affected from consuming food not suitable for their digestive system.

Speaking of animals, why do you think they do not get sick as often as humans do? Out in the wild, where not really encountered by humankind, animals continue to remain in their own natural environments and only eat certain foods, explaining why they do not contract diseases as humans do.

How Does This Work For Us?

With all these overloads in which it is almost impossible to fully comply to our own blood type diet plan, we’ll need to adapt accordingly. Each blood type category is labelled as what is highly beneficial for your blood type, what is neutral, and what to avoid. But a diet cannot be followed 100%. What you need to follow is 60 %, 40 % and 20 % respectively. It’s great if you can acquire as much as you can find for the highly beneficial foods. Neutral, you can have two or three times a week. What you need to avoid, maybe just once a week, and not more.

As mentioned before, your blood type diet is only a guideline of what you were meant to follow like your ancestors used to follow, in case you have a problem with your health. For example, anyone with the celiac disease, can definitely not have any gluten or wheat in their diet. These ingredients would only seriously aggravate their digestive system. In such a case, their blood type shall be followed as much as possible until the problem subsides. Even then, any substance which is harmful shall be avoided. A healthy person is able to cheat a little, but not to get into the habit of having gluten frequently, as the same kind of problem may develop. In essence, you mainly want to prevent anything from happening and keeping it that way by eating healthy.

Stop! Read This Before You Lose Your Gallbladder For Good!

Do you ever wonder how your body would function if you had a functional organ removed? Do you fear being told by your doctor you need surgery? Or would you rather keep your body intact and functioning properly?

Not all of us are doctors and specialists, but it’s important to know your organs and their functions. In fact it’s equally important to understand the general functions of the body, so you may understand what doctors and specialists are talking to you about.

The topic in question is about the importance of your gallbladder. How it fully works and the method in which it contributes its potency and intensity effects on fats, would be too long to explain in a single article. Several online articles can be found and researched for the overall function of the gallbladder.
Today’s topic will be different from what I usually post. This is not a full article strictly about how the gallbladder functions, but rather a brief introduction leading the main purpose of this article. The main feature will be a video prepared by Doctor Wesley, a doctor of life sciences who has studied the ecosystem of vital bodily functions for years. This intense video highlights the grand importance of maintaining your gallbladder, and why you should NEVER have your gallbladder removed. Though you may be suggested to remove your gallbladder because you’re convinced it’s necessary, your gallbladder is too important for your other organs to function in mutual synchronization. Fortunately Dr. Arlan Cage has put together a video on how you can save yourself from painful aftereffects.

Dr. Cage’s video covers shocking evidence of gallbladder surgery regarding the following:

Why your gallbladder must be left alone

How it adds to the essential functions of the human body

What the medical profession does not know or will not tell you

Why the rest of your functional organs cannot continue properly after gallbladder surgery

How to prevent your gallbladder from infection

Naturally we fall for the easiest way out and think we need surgery. But in too many cases, the problem is only chopped (surgically removed) rather than solved (prevented). Online research can be great, however, not always the most reliable source. I don’t know your condition (if you have one), genes, habits, lifestyle, or family history. I am not speaking for everyone. So that’s why you need to hear it from the horse’s mouth and be your own judge. Dr. Wesley will explain it to you in the video below on what it means to keep your gallbladder. Once you upload the video, you’ll also have the option of reading the text from within the video.

… It May Be Good For Someone Else’s Blood Type

Just recently I posted an article about The Cons and Pros of Red Meat. If you read many articles online, you’ll find several reviews, mainly negative, about the causes of red meat. The point I’m trying to make is sometimes you never know the benefits and disadvantages of various foods, even if you think they are good for you.

Do you still ponder why you keep getting sick even after eating healthy? Let’s get on to the chase on what I’m getting to here? Did you used to all the good old fruit and veggies you mommy and daddy told you to eat? Have you ever been checked by your doctor to find out surprising news about your health not being what you expected? What many do not know, and is often overlooked when it comes to research, is that dieting, as well as meats, differs with your blood type. Whatever diet is suitable for a specific blood type may not be suitable for your own. Not everyone can generally eat meat, fruit, nuts, grains, etc. However, our blood types do dictate what type of these foods we can eat. We each have our categories about what to increase, eat in moderation, and what to avoid. In the real world, we cannot always follow any 100 %. We all cheat every now and then. But we are mostly unaware that our genes go back a long way and determine what we are predisposed to. That is not to say that you will be struck with any particular disease. Only if you do not follow the proper diet for your blood type, there is a big chance you will get struck big time.

Our bodies are never perfect. We are always in the process of healing. We could be contracting diseases as I write this article and not even know it. But if you eat for your blood type, your body can become a fortress to prevent fatal diseases. In my case for example, I had a tumor operation approximately nine years ago. I gave my diet a complete overhaul, and all my scans have shown no signs of any remission ever since. As all diets go, it was not the perfect diet, but I can only imagine how worse I would be right now, if I hadn’t changed my diet in the first place. Even if you do develop any sings of disease in the future, as long as you stick the proper diet for your blood type, your body shall be able to fix the problem as opposed to getting treated to repair the excess damage.

But the guidelines intended for each blood type holds true. Your diet need to match your blood type. According to my experience before I had to go for surgery, I had a number of different blood tests. Because I was having the wrong diet, my blood tests were inaccurate. The hospitals were unable to determine what blood type I really was! I had to be examined by a blood analyst to determine my blood type instead. I was told the reason why the blood tests were inaccurate was because I was having the wrong diet. That is another reason why it is important to match your diet according to your blood type. I was involved in a diet compatible with someone else’s blood type!
